The State Merited Chorus gave a performance before full houses at the People’s Theatre Wednesday, the anniversary of the Korean people’s victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
Put on the stage were colorful numbers like male chorus “To a Decisive Battle”, orchestral music and male chorus “Song of Proud Guards Units” and orchestral music and serial songs “July 27, Our Victory Day”.
Watching the performance were Hwang Pyong So, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior party, state and army officials, officials of the party and armed forces organs, service personnel of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, war veterans, wartime meritorious persons, those who distinguished themselves in aiding the army, labor innovators and youths and students in Pyongyang.
