Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected construction sites for building 10 000 flats in Pyongyang City.

He, going round the construction sites presenting majestic appearance of modern streets with peculiar multistoried and skyscraping apartment houses that fill Songsin and Songhwa areas, gave pep talks to builders devoting their enthusiasm of loyalty and patriotism in order to flawlessly finish the construction within the period set by the Party and on the level demanded by the Party.

He stressed the need to successfully realize the Party’s plan and intention to make the people enjoy more civilized and happy life by carrying out step-wise plans for units and objects without fail now that the construction is in the final stage, strictly observing the demand of design and construction and thoroughly ensuring the quality of final project and afforestation and greening.

Meanwhile, the premier inspected the field of agriculture in Sunchon City.

He, going round the Phungthan Co-op Farm, the Phyongri Co-op Farm and the grain store in the city, called upon officials to increase their responsibility and role in taking full measures to successfully conclude this year’s farming including effective use of combined rice threshers, meticulously conducting the operation of the grain stores and making substantial preparations for next year’s farming.
