Ever since its inauguration the power station always carried out its annual production assignments without fail. This year too, which is of key importance in implementing the five-year strategy for national economic development, it is increasing the power production by holding high the banner of self-reliance and self-development and operating the generating equipment at full capacity.
Workers and technicians at the power station are strictly observing the standard operation manuals and ensuring scrupulous equipment and technical management with an attitude as befitting masters.
It has estabilished and integrated manufacturing system by their own efforts and technology to manage water and organize power production in a stientific way.
By stepping up the technical upgrading, they have raised the efficency of hydraulic turbines and other generating machines and developed an automatic measuring device for scientific accuracy in operating sluice gates.
A regular preventive maintenance system for generating equipment and structures is estabilished so as to increase power production.
Huichon Power Station No. 2 where a nationwide integrated power control system is estabilished is boosting the power producion for the economic development of the country and the improvement of the people’s living standards.
