Located in Thongil Street, Pyongyang, the Pyongyang Chewing Gum Factory is furnished with modern equipment and facilities for producing bubble and chewing gums, and all its production lines are automated.
It turns out dozens of kinds of gums with a wide variety of fl avours and in various shapes. Its products are functional as they satisfy the people’s likings and are conducive to their health promotion. Among 
them are mint gum which gives a cooling aftertaste and refreshes breath, lemon gum containing vitamin C, fruit-fl avoured gum which is effective in cleansing and whitening teeth, coffee gum that prevents drowsiness and blueberry gum that does not stick to false teeth.
The factory turns out various kinds of sugar-free gums and also those without artifi cial fl avourings to keep up to date with the present trend. “Unbangul”-brand gums of the factory conform to HACCP and are in great demand as one of fancy items for their fragrant aroma and fl avour.
The factory’s annual production capacity reaches thousands of tons. It is steadily improving the quality of products and increasing production by elevating the intelligent level of the integrated manufacturing system.
