As the DPRK commemorates the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, people from all walks of life pay their deepest respects to the revered leader. He is remembered as the guiding force behind the Korean revolution’s victorious history, marked by political independence, economic self-support, and national defense self-reliance. His revolutionary practices laid a solid foundation for Korean-style socialism.

On this significant Day of the Sun, senior Party and government officials, including Kim Tok Hun, Choe Ryong Hae, and Ri Pyong Chol, along with other officials from the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), ministries, national agencies, and armed forces, laid floral baskets at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

The Korean People’s Army guard of honor stood in formation, paying tribute to the great leaders.

A floral basket, presented in the name of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, was placed before the statues of the revered leaders.

Floral tributes were also laid by the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

Participants took a moment to pay their respects to the statues of the great leaders, reflecting on their enduring legacy.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, as participants expressed their commitment to advancing the goals of the WPK’s fighting program. They pledged to harness their patriotic strength and zeal to contribute positively to the new era, characterized by significant changes and vibrancy.
