Servicepersons and civilians from all walks of life and school youth and children in the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il across the country on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il.

Seen before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang was a floral basket from Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army.

Laid at the statues were floral baskets in the names of the party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries and national institutions and units of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces and institutions and enterprises at all levels, factories and schools in Pyongyang as well as bouquets.

Also placed was a floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

The participants paid tribute to the great leaders before their statues.

Floral tribute was also paid to the statues at Kim Il Sung University, Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces, Ministry of People’s Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and other parts of the city.

Servicepersons, working people and school youth and children in different parts of the country, too, visited the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in their residential areas to pay deep respects to them.
