A national oratorical meeting was held at the People’s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang on Wednesday to commemorate the 82nd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
The event was attended by officials including Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Jon Kyong Chol, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, Sung Jong Gyu, minister of Culture, as well as the general public in Pyongyang.
During the oratorical meeting, speakers expressed admiration for the enduring contributions of Chairman Kim Jong Il, who dedicated his entire life to the well-being of the nation and the happiness of its people. They also acknowledged the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, recognizing his role in steering the country towards a new era of comprehensive state prosperity through his remarkable and seasoned guidance.
With enthusiasm, the speakers credited the present state of the country and the people’s contentment to the tireless efforts of Kim Jong Il, who paved an unprecedented path with superhuman energy, selflessly contributing to the nation’s support.
Highlighting Kim Jong Un’s leadership, the orators praised his achievements in fulfilling Kim Jong Il’s patriotic vision for a strong nation, marking the era of the state-first principle and unprecedented glory in the nation’s 5,000-year history.
Concluding their speeches, the speakers fervently called on the entire populace to unite with patriotism, urging the successful implementation of the Party’s resolutions to achieve fresh victories in overall state prosperity.
