With a focus on providing fresh vegetables to the people throughout the year, agricultural workers in the DPRK have adopted scientific methods to enhance greenhouse vegetable production.

The Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm, for example, has successfully harvested its first crop of vegetables, following precise farming processes from seedling production to vegetable tending, all in compliance with technical regulations.

Similarly, the Jangchon Vegetable Farm in the Sadong District of Pyongyang City, has adopted effective methods of crop distribution, precise temperature and humidity regulation, and nutritional care, yielding a variety of fresh vegetables.

Meanwhile, the Mangyongdae District Vegetable Greenhouse in Pyongyang has achieved remarkable results by meeting technical requirements and following specific cultivation processes.

The Hamhung Vegetable Farm in Hamhung City has also increased per-unit-area production through the strategic selection of varieties, efficient soil and environmental management, and optimal use of greenhouse space.

Other regions, such as the Samhwa Vegetable Farm in Phyongsong City and the Hanggu District Vegetable Greenhouse, have made similar progress in improving greenhouse vegetable production.
