A multitude of individuals flocked to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the revered sanctuary of Juche, expressing boundless aspirations for President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

From working-class heroes to dedicated service personnel, enthusiastic youth, and diligent students, all paid their respects at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill and the nationwide mosaics portraying their radiant smiles. Public dining establishments across the nation buzzed with activity as people gathered to savor the occasion. Popular venues such as the Rungna People’s Pleasure Park, the Amusement Park of Kaeson Youth Park, and the People’s Open-air Ice Rink echoed with the laughter of revelers.
