Fireworks were displayed in the sky over Pyongyang on the New Year, Juche 107 (2018).
Working citizens from all walks of life and school youth and children thronged banks of the River Taedong near Kim Il Sung Square and the Tower of the Juche Idea to watch fireworks gala on Sunday evening.
At 00:00 of January 1, 2018, song “Our Leader Loved by People” resounded, along with the start of the fireworks. Such letters reading “A Happy New Year” were displayed with fireworks.
Watching the fireworks, the onlookers looked back upon with proud the year 2017 when the Korean people made a dynamic advance toward the victory of socialism, rallied as one in mind around the ever-victorious Workers’ Party of Korea.
