1. Changjon Street Apartments
Changjon Street Apartments are one of the most beautiful buildings in modern Pyongyang. Skyscrapers on the Changjon Street was opened in 2012 and was given to the people totally free of charge. Each building has various kind of flats fitted to the families’ needs. Apartments were furnished by the government so the new tenants didn’t have to worry about the equipment.
Even without the filters, Changjon Street is a model and modern housing complex, but after applying some Prisma filters on the photos – it is even more breathtaking.
2. Mirae Scientists Street
Mirae Scientists Street in Pyongyang is a newly developed street for the scientists working in Pyongyang. The 6 lane street is located between Pyongyang Railway Station and the Taedong River.
There are a lot of beautiful skyscrapers with modern design. One of the most unique building there is the 53-storied building, the higest one peculiar in architectural style. From the architectural point of view, it has six semi-elliptic wings with elevator shafts and stairways as their centre, which looks like the electron orbit when looking down from the sky. On the top of the building, there is a globe and a model satellite going round it, which are supported by a tower, to be symbolic of the space science.
3. Kim Il Sung Square
Kim Il Sung Square is beautiful city square located in the Central District of Pyongyang City named after the President Kim Il Sung.
4. Monument to Party Founding
Characteristical and beautiful monument from Pyongyang symbolizing the Workers’ Party of Korea. The hammer, sickle and brush symbolize the workers, farmers and intellectuals..
5. Juche Tower
It is a monument named after the Kim Il Sung‘s ideology – Juche. It was completed in 1982 and is situated on the eastern bank of the Taedong River, directly opposite to the Kim Il Sung Square. It was built to commemorate 70th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung birthday.
6. Rungnado May Day Stadium
It is currently the largest stadium in the world. It was completed on May, 1, 1989.
