DPRK handball players came back home Wednesday after taking part in the IHF Trophy Tournament East and Southeast Asia held in Hong Kong, China from July 20 to 24. It brought together teams of six countries and regions including the DPRK, Vietnam, Mongolia and Taipei of China.
The men and women players of the DPRK beat all their rivals, bagging gold medals. Choe Pong Im and Ri Kyong Song were awarded the best prizes. The players were greeted at Pyongyang Railway Station by Ri Jong Mu, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, officials concerned and their families, players and coaches.
