DPRK athletes returned home on Wednesday after participating in the 2016 Vietnam International Open Track and Field Tournament held in Vietnam on July 29 and 30.
The tournament brought together over 400 men and women players from 8 countries and region including Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China. Kim Son Hui won a gold medal in the women’s 10 000 m race and a silver medal in the women’s 5 000 m race. Meanwhile, Kim Chol Sun finished third in the women’s 10 000 m race.
The players were greeted by officials concerned at Pyongyang Railway Station.
