The Workers’ Art Group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) presented its performance, “The Song of the Working Class Dedicated to February,” at the Central Hall of Workers in Pyongyang on Feb. 14 to celebrate Chairman Kim Jong Il’s 82nd birth anniversary.

The audience, including Ri Ju Myong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, trade union officials, and workers in Pyongyang, enjoyed the performance.

The performance commenced with the chorus “A Dear Name,” paying tribute to Chairman Kim Jong Il, acknowledging his contributions to showcasing the dignity and strength of the DPRK worldwide. The artists honored Kim Jong Il’s everlasting legacy in laying the foundation for a powerful country through his insightful ideological wisdom and dynamic leadership.

Throughout the presentation, songs praised the immortal achievements of Kim Jong Il, who consistently achieved victory and glory during the long course of the Juche revolution under the red flag of the revolution throughout his life.

Some segments conveyed the deep respect of the people for Comrade Kim Jong Un, emphasizing his prioritization of the rights and interests of the people and his dedicated efforts for their well-being.

Other parts of the performance reflected the steadfast faith and determination of the working class to create fresh accomplishments and innovations at every worksite in line with the Party’s resolutions.
