A celebratory dance gathering organized by members and officials of the Women’s Union was held on May 1 at Arch of Triumph Square in Pyongyang to mark the 135th anniversary of May Day, the international holiday celebrating workers.

As the song “May of Victory” played, participants began dancing, expressing pride in their contributions to the country’s development through their work and dedication.

Women danced to songs such as “Our Dear Leader” and “Joy of the People”, with many expressing pride in their role in society and their connection to the country’s leadership.

The event continued with upbeat music, including titles like “Four Seasons of Pyongyang” and “Hŭllari”, creating an energetic atmosphere in the square.

Participants, inspired by the determination of earlier generations of women in the country’s history, danced enthusiastically to songs like “Our Song is the Song of Victory” and “Following the Party Like a Star”, expressing a desire to contribute positivity and energy to both their families and communities.
