Service personnel, people from all walks of life and school youth and children in the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il to pay tribute to them on the 23rd anniversary of the demise of the President.
Seen before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill was a floral basket from respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
Placed at the statues were floral baskets, together with bouquets, in the names of party, armed forces and power bodies, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, institutions, industrial establishments and schools in the city.
Also laid there was a floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.
The visitors paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders.
Floral baskets in the names of KPA units, institutions and enterprises and bouquets and flowers were placed before the statues of the great leaders at Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces, the Ministry of People’s Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and other parts of Pyongyang.
Meanwhile, servicepersons, working people and school youth and children across the country visited the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in their residential areas.
