Tonghae School for orphans was built in Wonsan City in the east coastal area of Korea.
The school has multi-function classrooms and laboratories based on IT technology and a hostel, dinning hall, gymnasium and all other educational and living facilities.
Its inaugural ceremony took place Monday.
At the end of the ceremony the participants together with orphans went round the school.
