Talks between Ri Yong Ho, foreign minister of the DPRK, and Wang Yi, state councilor and foreign minister of the People’s Republic of China, were held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Wednesday.
At the talks both sides had an in-depth discussion on the issues of developing the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations onto a new high stage based on the agreement reached at the historic meeting between the supreme leaders of the two countries.
They also candidly exchanged their opinions on the matters of mutual concern including the situation on the Korean peninsula.
The talks proceeded in a friendly and sincere atmosphere.
Present there from the DPRK side were Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Ri Kil Song, Vice-Minister of External Economic Relations Ku Pon Thae and officials concerned and from the Chinese side the foreign minister’s party, Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Li Jinjun, and his embassy officials.
