The Sunchon Catfish Farm was newly built in the DPRK.
The farm has a combined control room, hatchery and fry raising block, indoor-fattening block, 10-odd outdoor plastic-walled pools, heating room, etc.
It, equipped with an integrated production system, is now raising hundreds of thousands of fishes including catfish, tilapia and sturgeon.
A ceremony for its inauguration took place on Wednesday.
At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the catfish farm.
