The finals of the “2024 Sports Contest among Agricultural Workers” happened at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on March 5. Premier Kim Tok Hun, a key figure in the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other notable attendees like Ju Chol Gyu, Kim Il Guk, and Han Jong Hyok, gathered to witness the event alongside exemplary agricultural workers and Pyongyang residents.
Before the finals, Ri Chol Man, the Vice Premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, addressed the participants. He encouraged everyone to showcase their collective strength and skills, emphasizing the importance of proving the effectiveness of the Party’s mass sports policies. He urged them to contribute positively to the rural revolution in the new era.
The event featured team marches from all provinces and gymnastic demonstrations before each sports final. Notably, North Hwanghae Province secured the top spot in the overall team standings.
