he Songhwa fine art exhibition opened at the Pyongyang International House of Culture Thursday to celebrate the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Put on display are over 60 Korean paintings, oil paintings and water-color paintings created by old painters.

Seen in the center of the exhibition venue is a poster depicting the images of the President and leader Kim Jong Il.

The exhibits include paintings reflecting the Korean army and people’s deep yearning for the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu and portraying the Korean nation’s happiness of being blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation.

There are also paintings dealing with the reality of the DPRK making great changes each day under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the Koreans’ desire for national reunification.
