A solidarity meeting took place at the Chollima Hall of Culture on Tuesday on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and the Syrian Arab Republic. Present there on invitation were Tammam Sulaiman, Syrian ambassador to the DPRK, and members of his embassy.
On hand there were Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, officials concerned and working people in the city. Speeches were made there.
Tammam Sulaiman referred to the fact that the friendly and fraternal two countries have cooperated with each other in various fields such as politics, economy and culture and developed the bilateral relations in the international arena including the non-aligned movement.
