North Phyongan Province is making significant strides in the remodeling and modernization of the Sinuiju Chemical Fibre Mill in line with the decision of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea. The guidance group has ensured adequate supplies of iron and steel, timber, and finishing building materials, and has been leading the builders’ enthusiasm towards innovative successes through dynamic political work.
An exhibition of utensils and tools aimed at generalizing the experience of advanced units was held, laying material and technical foundations to further raise the level of mechanization of building and specialization in construction. The construction units presented over 9,000 utensils and tools invented and manufactured by their own efforts and technology, driven by the enthusiasm to finish the modernization of the mill.
Officials and shock brigade members are introducing advanced building methods to push ahead with the project while directing efforts to ensure the structural quality of the updated Sinuiju Chemical Fibre Mill.
