The mountainous region of Jagang Province welcomed a significant step forward in local economic development with the inauguration of new regional-industry factories in Tongsin County.

The inauguration ceremony, held on Wednesday, was met with great enthusiasm as residents gathered to witness the opening of these vital facilities, marking an important milestone in the county’s progress.

Pak Song Chol, Chief Secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), delivered a speech highlighting the importance of these new factories. Ri Jae Hyon, Chief Secretary of the Tongsin County Committee of the WPK, expressed a firm commitment to ensuring the successful operation of the newly established factories. Following the speeches, the managers of the factories performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially commencing operations. Attendees toured the new facilities, which are equipped with modern production lines designed to enhance efficiency and output.

The event concluded with an artistic performance and a fireworks display, celebrating the promising future of Tongsin County and its continued development.
