The people of Kusong City, North Phyongan Province, joyfully celebrated the grand inauguration of newly constructed regional-industry factories, marking a significant milestone in the country’s economic development.
The inauguration ceremony took place on January 30, attended by officials and workers from North Phyongan Province and Kusong City, alongside dedicated soldier-builders and factory employees.
Kim Chol Sam, Chief Secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, delivered an inspiring address. He emphasized that these newly built factories stand as shining examples of the Party’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the livelihoods of the people in Kusong City. Their completion, he noted, reflects the steadfast resolve of the Party Central Committee to fulfill the long-held aspiration of regional citizens to enjoy prosperity on par with urban centers.
He highlighted the dynamic leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has personally guided the ambitious regional development strategy by convening crucial meetings, setting forth clear directives, and frequently visiting construction sites. His tireless dedication, Kim Chol Sam stressed, has been the key force driving the rapid completion of these large-scale projects in under a year.
