South Hamgyong Province in the DPRK has recently initiated an ambitious project to ensure that its inhabitants have access to enough clean and safe domestic water. This comes after officials held a consultative meeting and took practical measures to address the pressing issue. The project is making significant progress with the construction of the water intake well and force pumping station moving forward at a rapid pace.

In a bid to enhance cooperation and collaboration, officials have engaged and encouraged workers from various units to play an important role in providing necessary equipment for the project. Moreover, to address any technical issues that may arise, they are working alongside professors and researchers from Hamhung University of Hydraulic Engineering.

In addition to the construction of new infrastructure, officials are taking steps to ensure the smooth functioning of the existing water supply network and pumping stations, so that the inhabitants of South Hamgyong Province can have access to an uninterrupted supply of domestic water.
