Pak Thae Song, a member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Premier of the DPRK Cabinet, conducted field inspections across several sectors of the national economy.

During his visit to the Kumsong Tractor Factory and the Kangso Machinery Parts Factory, the Premier stressed the need to adopt advanced technologies to improve the precision and quality of production. He highlighted the importance of increasing the development and manufacturing of efficient agricultural machinery to support the ongoing mechanization of farming activities.

At a power transmission line construction unit, Premier Pak reviewed the production process for high-voltage transmission towers and the operational status of equipment. He emphasized mobilizing existing production capacity to meet this year’s targets and called for greater attention to workers’ living conditions, given the mobile and demanding nature of their work.

At the Pyongyang Bearing Factory, he praised employees for exceeding the national economic plan in the first quarter and urged continued efforts to boost output. He also called for strengthening the factory’s scientific and technological capabilities to further improve product quality and bearing durability.

While visiting the State Design Bureau, the Premier underscored the importance of modernizing design tools and adopting advanced architectural methods. He encouraged the creation of unique and innovative designs that represent the country’s current wave of construction and prosperity. He also stressed improving the skills of architects, nurturing talent, and strengthening internal review and guidance systems to ensure the bureau meets its mission as a leading design institution.

In Unjom Farm in Singye County, North Hwanghae Province, the Premier inspected the growth of early wheat and barley crops, urging meticulous management to ensure high yields. He called on agricultural guidance bodies at all levels to focus on improving cultivation in mountainous and hilly areas.

He also reviewed preparations at a newly built wheat processing plant in Singye County. Discussions focused on logistics, improving staff technical skills, and ensuring stable operations once the facility is up and running.

Throughout the visit, various meetings addressed the need to prioritize the supply of components and materials for farm machinery and high-voltage line construction, improve living conditions for power line workers, strengthen bearing production infrastructure, and enhance project design review processes.
