A Central Photo Exhibition titled “Building Our Revolutionary Armed Forces into an Invincible Strong Army” has opened in Pyongyang to commemorate the 83rd anniversary of the birth of Kim Jong Il. The exhibition showcases photographs and archival images highlighting the leadership and contributions of Great Comrade Kim Jong Il in strengthening the nation’s armed forces, as well as Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un continued efforts in advancing the DPRK’s military power.

The carefully curated collection captures key moments from Kim Jong Il’s leadership, illustrating his dedication to transforming the Korean People’s Army into a formidable and self-reliant military force. His firm belief that the strength of the nation lies in its defense capabilities is a recurring theme throughout the exhibition.

The photographs also highlight his commitment to modernizing the national defense industry, securing the country’s sovereignty, and ensuring stability for future generations.

Alongside images of Kim Jong Il contributions, the exhibition features photographs of Kim Jong Un leadership in furthering these efforts. His firm stance on national defense and his vision for a self-sufficient and technologically advanced military are prominently displayed.

Several images illustrate how the DPRK’s armed forces have developed into a highly capable and strategically powerful force under his leadership, ensuring national security and sovereignty.

The opening ceremony took place on February 3 at the People’s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang. The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including:

Ju Chang Il, Director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea Kim Su Gil, Secretary of the Pyongyang City Party Committee Kim Myong Hun, Deputy Prime Minister Various officials and workers from across the city The Minister of Culture, Seung Jong Gyu, delivered the opening speech, marking the official launch of the exhibition.

The exhibition serves as a tribute to the leadership that has shaped the DPRK’s military strength and will be open to the public for viewing in the coming days.
