The entire Korean nation have joyfully welcomed the meaningful Lunar New Year of 2025.
With the arrival of this auspicious holiday, waves of people surged toward the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, where the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il reside eternally in their sacred presence.
Officials, workers, People’s Army soldiers, and schoolchildren, filled with boundless reverence, visited the statues of the great leaders on Mansudae Hill and mosaic murals depicting the images of the peerlessly great men. They respectfully presented floral baskets, bouquets, and fresh flowers while conveying New Year’s greetings in utmost sincerity.
Under the wise leadership of our respected Party Central Committee, newly built streets and modernized rural villages across the country were splendidly decorated in festive colors. Every household was filled with the joyful laughter of families and the melodious songs of happiness, echoing throughout the nation.

In Pyongyang, South Hwanghae Province, Nampo, Kaesong, and many other places, joyful laughter of schoolchildren never ceased as they played traditional folk games such as jegichagi (shuttlecock kicking), paengi chigi (top spinning), and julnori (jump rope).
