An oath-taking meeting for accomplishing the cause of the Juche revolution under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, holding Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the eternal leader of the Korean revolution, took place at the secret camp in Mt Paektu on February 12.
Present there were senior party and government officials Pak Kwang Ho, An Jong Su, Ro Tu Chol and No Kwang Chol, Chairman of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea Ri Sang Won, officials of the Party Central Committee, armed forces organs, working people’s organizations, ministries and national institutions, officers and men of the Korean People’s Army, commanding officers and shock brigade members of the 216 Division, officials of Ryanggang Province and Samjiyon County and merited persons.
Speeches were made there to make a pledge.
The speakers noted that leader Kim Jong Il performed undying feats before the party, the revolution, the country and its people all his life, true to the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung.
They stressed the need to further spruce up Samjiyon County, where the native home of Kim Jong Il is situated, as a large open-air museum for educating in the revolutionary traditions and as a paradise for the people without an equal in the world.
They said they would consider the historic victory won in building the nuclear force of the Republic as a springboard for new progress and wage a dynamic struggle to accomplish the patriotic cause of Kim Jong Il, the cause of building a powerful socialist nation, through an all-people all-out offensive.
They vowed to become thousand-fold fortresses and shields to devotedly defend the Party Central Committee headed by Kim Jong Un.
