A new library has been completed at Koryo Songgyungwan University.
Located at the foot of Mt. Songak, the newly constructed facility blends well with the university’s historic main buildings. The library features reading rooms, academic discussion halls, and facilities for scientific research and technological studies.
With the addition of this modern library to the centuries-old university, Koryo Songgyungwan is expected to make further progress in education, research, and the university’s technical infrastructure. It will serve as a central hub for students to deepen their knowledge and engage in scientific and academic activities.
The official opening ceremony for the library took place on April 23. Attendees included Vice Premier Jon Sung Guk, university officials, faculty, students, and the construction team.
