A state-of-the-art football school has been inaugurated in South Hamgyong Province, providing a dedicated space for developing the region’s future football talent.

Equipped with modern facilities, the school is designed to foster young athletes and train reserve players, contributing to the growth of football in the DPRK.

The opening ceremony, attended by Choe Hung Jo, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, along with local officials, teachers, students, and builders, marked a significant milestone for sports education in the province.

Hwang Myong Chol, vice-chairman of the provincial people’s committee, delivered a speech highlighting the school’s importance in nurturing skilled players and promoting sports culture.

The new football school underscores the commitment to advancing athletic development and providing opportunities for young people to excel in sports.
