The “National Food Exhibition–2025” has opened, hosted by the Ministry of Local Industry.
Over 100 units, including the Paegunsan General Food Factory and Kimhwa County Food Factory, have exhibited hundreds of thousands of products across more than 200 varieties, such as basic food items, confectionery, beverages, processed meat products, and vegetable-based processed goods.
The opening ceremony was held on March 31 at the Pyongyang Underground Store.
Jo Yong Chol, Minister of Local Industry, along with officials from participating units and workers, attended the event.
A speech was delivered at the opening ceremony.
After the ceremony, the participants toured the exhibition hall.
During the exhibition, there will be presentations of scientific and technological achievements, lectures on science and technology, and visits to modern food factories. On April 2, there will be product evaluations and registration.
