South Phyongan and North Hwanghae provinces of the DPRK are taking active part in rendering material assistance to the flood-hit areas of the country’s North Hamgyong Province, in hearty response to the appealing call of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
A campaign is going on to boost production at electric power, coal and cement production bases in South Phyongan Province. The province has sent to those areas a large amount of building materials, food grain, clothes and daily necessities.
North Hwanghae Province also rendered a great deal of aids, including foodstuff, grains, 1.5 million pieces of daily necessities, steel, cement and wood.
