In a patriotic endeavor to address the critical issue of electricity, numerous units across the nation are channeling their efforts towards electric power production through natural energy sources.

The Central District People’s Committee of the capital city, Pyongyang, has taken significant strides in this initiative by establishing a systematic parallel photovoltaic power plant within the expansive Rungna People’s Pleasure Ground, strategically enhancing the planned capacity for electric power production.

The committee’s approach involved a comprehensive effort to persuade various units by showcasing the successful outcomes achieved through experimental projects and emphasizing the advantages of collaborative power plants. This concerted effort has resulted in the active participation of over 300 units in the power plant initiative, contributing to the overall supply of electricity.

Ri Chol Rim, an official at the Central District General Restaurant, shared insights into the decision-making process, stating, “When we opted for natural energy, challenges emerged due to the presence of high-rise buildings and street trees. However, by joining the photovoltaic power plant operated by the district, we now generate and utilize an average of 280 kilowatt-hours of electricity monthly, regardless of external conditions. Ultimately, this approach proves highly advantageous from both the state’s perspective and that of our unit.”

The systemic parallel solar power generation system implemented at the restaurant stands out for its effectiveness, allowing for the optimal utilization of generated electricity in seamless coordination with the national grid.

The success stories emerging from various units highlight the significant potential for substantial profits when units commit to harnessing natural energy effectively. This experience underscores the broader benefits achievable through a collective and determined effort to embrace sustainable and eco-friendly power sources. As the nation continues to prioritize economic development, the utilization of natural energy resources emerges as a key driver for progress, reflecting the commitment of units to the common goal of enhancing the country’s energy landscape.
