Servicepersons of the Korean People’s Army, working people and school youth and children visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on the 20th anniversary of Kim Jong Il‘s election as general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Seen before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill was a floral basket sent by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Placed at the statues were floral baskets, together with bouquets and flowers, in the names of party, armed forces and power organs, public organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, institutions, industrial establishments and schools in Pyongyang.

The participants paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

Floral baskets, bouquets and flowers were also laid before the statues of the great leaders in different parts of the city including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces, the Ministry of People’s Security and the Mansudae Art Studio.

Servicepersons and civilians across the country visited the statues of the great leaders and mosaics depicting their smiling images in their residential areas to pay homage to them.
