An exhibition of achievements made by the women’s union marking the Sixth Congress of the Democratic Women’s Union of Korea opened with due ceremony at the People’s Palace of Culture on Friday.

Displayed there are achievements made by the women’s union organizations at all levels including the C.C., the women’s union and its provincial committees in strengthening the women’s union and building a rich and powerful country since the Fifth Congress of the women’s union.

Present at the ceremony were Ri Il Hwan, department director of the C.C., the Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the C.C., the women’s union, and officials and members of the women’s union.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the exhibition.
