An evening gala of youth and students “We Will Glorify Great Kim Il Sung‘s Korea Forever” took place at Kim Il Sung Square on Saturday in celebration of the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
Among those who took the tribune of honor were Kim Yong Nam, Hwang Pyong So, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior party, state and army officials, the chairman of a friendly party and chairpersons of provincial party committees.
Reviewing stands of the square were taken by delegates to the celebrations of the 105th birth anniversary of the President, officials of party, armed forces and power organs, working people’s organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, merited people, congratulatory groups and delegations of overseas Koreans and other overseas compatriots, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations, members of the military attaches corps here and their spouses, staff members of foreign embassies here, and foreign guests.
Amid the playing of music “Let’s Sing of the Day of the Sun”, cheerful dances were performed.
Various acrobatic pieces were shown and the square was full of joy and optimism of youths and students.
Overseas Koreans and foreign guests joined the dancers to gorgeously decorate the evening.
