A high-level delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea led by Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly, on February 9 arrived in south Korea to attend the opening ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympics.

“Chammae-2”, a personal jet of the DPRK government flying corps, carrying the delegation aboard, landed at Inchon International Airport around 13:15.

Kim Yong Nam, Kim Yo Jong and other members of the high-level delegation were greeted by Jo Myong Gyun, minister of Unification, and others concerned at the airport.

Kim Yong Nam and Kim Yo Jong had a pleasant talk with the south side’s reception members at the VIP room before leaving for Phyongchang by the rapid transit train, where the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics was to be held.
