Dancing parties of youth and students were held in different parts of the country Saturday to celebrate the 25th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il‘s assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People’s Army and the 99th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, the anti-Japanese war heroine.
Song “Fortune of Korea” resounded forth at plazas in Pyongyang including those of the Monument to Party Founding, the Arch of Triumph and Pyongyang Railway Station.
The participants showed a dancing wave of joy, paying highest tribute and eternal glory to Kim Jong Il who provided a firm political and military guarantee for the eternal future of the country and put the dignity and strength of Kim Il Sung‘s Korea on the highest level with his Songun politics and high-intensity forced march.
They danced to the tune of “Our General Is the Best” and other songs, expressing ardent yearning and boundless reverence for him. Such songs as “Song of Youth” and “We Like Passionate Life” stirred up the atmosphere of the dancing parties.
