Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly, inspected various units in Changsong County and Thaechon County of North Phyongan Province.

He learned about stockbreeding, the conclusion of this year’s farming and preparations for the next year’s farming in the Okpho Stockbreeding Co-op Farm of Changsong County and the Unhung Co-op Farm of Thaechon County.

He called on the officials and working people of the farms to create and positively generalize good experience in implementing the agricultural policy of the Party and to wage dynamic struggle for bringing about cultural development peculiar to rural areas and thus turn the farms into highly civilized places good to work and live.

Looking round a foodstuff factory and a paper factory of the counties and the Changsong County Sack Factory, he stressed the need for the officials of the power organs and administrative and economic organs to always pay deep attention to the development of local industry and stable improvement of the people’s living, put to the maximum use locally available raw materials and sources, produce more condiments and essential consumer goods and steadily raise their quality.

Field consultative meetings stressed the need for the officials to fulfill their responsibilities and duties in thoroughly carrying out the Party’s line of strengthening cities and counties and pressed for taking detailed and technical measures so as to effectively conduct the movement for winning the title of exemplary law-observance units, like the title of exemplary law-observance county, in close combination with the three revolutions – ideological, technical and cultural.
