A meeting of women’s union officials and members took place at the Hall of Women on Octobrt 6 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il‘s election as general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and its 72nd anniversary.
Present there were officials concerned and officials and members of the women’s union.
Jang Chun Sil, chairwoman of the C.C., Socialist Women’s Union of Korea, made a report to be followed by speeches.
The reporter and speakers said that the WPK history of 70-odd years is an ever-victorious history in which it created a new history of revolutionary party building and has grown to be the glorious party of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, holding in high esteem the great leaders in the van.
They noted that the WPK, under the guidance of Kim Jong Il, had developed into a revolutionary party in which the ideological and guidance system of leader is firmly established, a motherly party which become a harmonious whole with the popular masses and an invincible party with strong discipline and combat efficiency.
They referred to the fact that he had made ceaseless high-intensity forced march till the last moments of his revolutionary life to provide eternal cornerstone for the prosperity of the country, holding high under the treasures sword of Songun.
His feats will shine long with the history of the WPK and he will be always alive as the eternal head of the WPK and the Sun of Juche, they stressed.
They called for fully demonstrating the revolutionary stamina of the Korean women in the great advance of Mallima under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
