The 2nd candy sculpture show took place at Chongryu Restaurant from April 10 to 12 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
Presented to the show were more than 2 860 sugar sculptures and at least 740 biscuit sculptures created by more than 120 technicians and cooks from dozens of dozens of foodstuff factories and public catering establishments.
Drawing interest of experts and spectators were those sculptures depicting monumental edifies in the era of the Workers’ Party and heroes of cartoon films.
On display were sugar and biscuit sculptures depicting various fruits, animals and plants and landscape based on formative art.
There took place a demonstration of cooks and technicians, revving up the atmosphere of the show.
