The art squad of the Central Committee of the Youth League gave a performance at the Central Youth Hall on February 6 to celebrate the 70th birthday of the Korean People’s Army (KPA).

The performance began with chorus “Cantata to Marshal Kim Il Sung” and “Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung“.

Its numbers included narration and song “Red Chol Pass”.

The performers sang high praises of the revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who founded the KPA and strengthened it into an invincible revolutionary army.

They also vividly represented the best wishes of the Korean army and people for good health to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is ushering in the greatest heyday of building the revolutionary armed forces.

There were also numbers showing the mettle of the young people to create new legendary tales about the heroic youth in the present grand march of Mallima.

Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the C.C., Workers’ Party of Korea, youth league officials and youth and students enjoyed the performance.
