In the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, various initiatives are underway to promote medium- and long-term plans for ecological environment protection, resulting in notable successes in safeguarding and enhancing the natural environment.
The Environmental Science and Technology Institute is implementing technical and practical measures to elevate the national atmospheric environmental monitoring density. This includes vigilant observation and control of air pollution, coupled with the active development and incorporation of cutting-edge environmental protection technologies.
Meanwhile, the Nanophysical Engineering Research Institute at Kim Chaek University of Technology has introduced innovative technology to significantly enhance the efficiency of wastewater purification in industrial establishments. By harnessing the potent activity of ozone, this advancement contributes significantly to environmental protection.
The Taehung Trade Guidance Bureau has developed fuel processing equipment designed to align with environmental protection goals, expanding its integration across various sectors. Ryang Tong Chol, the Department Head, emphasizes the equipment’s importance not only in fuel conservation but also in contributing to the nation’s environmental well-being. He states, “Our research was intensified, recognizing the vital role this equipment plays in both fuel efficiency and the country’s environmental protection. We are now actively introducing this equipment to all units utilizing fuel.”
Amidst these proactive measures in ecological environment protection, there is a steadfast commitment to fulfilling the important policies of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the state. These policies aim to provide the people with an enhanced natural and living environment, reflecting a dedicated effort towards a sustainable and ecologically sound future.
