The Ryongsong Bearing Factory is widely recognized for achieving a high standard of greening and landscaping.

Within the factory grounds, over 3,500 trees from more than 40 different species, along with a variety of flowers, are thoughtfully arranged in harmony with the production buildings. Tall trees such as cedar, zelkova, fir, and pine surround the factory, while the interior is densely planted with fruit trees like apricot, pear, peach, and apple.

The factory boasts over 230 apricot trees and more than 400 apple trees. Employees can enjoy fresh fruit from spring to fall.

Dozens of types of flowering trees and plants, including roses, weigela, and pearl-bush, enhance the factory’s beautiful environment.

The factory also manages a dedicated forest area of over 230 hectares, home to over 50,000 thriving trees, including various species of conifers and oaks.

Planting and nurturing all these trees and flowers while managing regular duties is no easy task. Worker Kim Myong Sim noted that working in such a beautiful and clean environment, filled with fresh air, naturally boosts productivity.

Park Man Gyong, a factory manager, explained that each year the factory develops a landscaping plan and mobilizes employees to implement it, resulting in ever-growing lush forests and increasing employees’ attachment to the factory.

In February, the factory was awarded the Socialist Patriotic Forest title by the state.
