Spicy Pollock Soup is a soup made by boiling pollock to create a spicy broth. Pollock is rich in protein, and when the soup is boiled to be spicy, it replenishes nutrition during the winter season, warms the body, and is especially good for relieving hangovers caused by excessive drinking.
Spicy Pollock Soup Recipe:
Ingredients (Serves 8):
- 2kg pollock
- 300g tofu
- 5g sesame seeds
- 50g red pepper paste
- 10g oil
- 30g green onions
- 20g garlic
- 5g ginger
- 20g green chili peppers
- 5g red pepper powder
Instructions:
- Cut the pollock into pieces about 3-4cm long and sprinkle with salt. Cut the tofu into square pieces and thinly slice some of the green onions and green chili peppers.
- Use the head of the pollock to make the broth. Mix minced garlic and ginger, red pepper paste, chopped green chili peppers, sliced green onions, minced garlic, ginger, and oil to make the seasoning sauce.
- When the broth boils, dissolve the red pepper paste and add the pollock pieces. When almost cooked, add the sliced tofu, green chili peppers, and green onions, then simmer for a while. Serve the soup in a bowl and pour the seasoning sauce over
