Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, inspected various industrial establishments.

At the Chollima Steel Complex, Kim Tok Hun gave pep talk to its furnacemen all out in the drive for increasing production, true to the noble intention of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un to provide the people in the typhoon-hit areas with happy life as early as possible.

He called on them to fully display their spirit and mettle as the working class of Kangson in the recovery campaign on which the Party concentrates efforts.

In the steel workshop and others, he took measures for tackling the problems arising in keeping electric furnaces going at a high rate and improving the technical control of strand-casting machine.

At the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex, he underscored the need to accelerate the installment of the large oxygen separator and conduct a mass technological innovation movement for increasing iron and steel production by introducing rational melting methods and decreasing the steelmaking time.

During his inspection of the Pyongyang Electric Fitments Factory, he called upon its officials to produce more electric fitments with locally available raw and other materials by giving full play to revolutionary enthusiasm and creative ingenuity of its workers.

The field consultative meetings urged relevant units to fully supply electricity, raw and materials in order to increase iron and steel production urgently needed for reconstruction projects, and took practical measures to introduce efficient methods into fitment production.

Earlier, he inspected the Sunchon Cement Complex and the Posan Iron Works.
