Hostel of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill is on the shore of the River Taedong in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

It has wonderful welfare service amenities, so it is called a workers’ palace, a workers’ hotel.

The hostel is associated with the love of the respected supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

In October Juche 102(2013), Kim Jong Un visited the mill and promised to build a good hostel, saying it is necessary for the mill to pay primary concern to providing the better living conditions to the workers in order to normalize production and raise quality of goods.

He selected the site of the hostel and solved all problems including the stage-to-stage target of construction and the formation of construction force. Under his meticulous guidance, the hostel could be built in a short span of time.

In April Juche 103(2014) Kim Jong Un called at the completed hostel and said with great pleasure that it looks really smart and he is able to keep the promise he made with the workers of the mill.

Looking round different places of the hostel, he praised that the bathhouse had been built flawlessly and the dining hall like a banquet hall and the facilities in the kitchen are also modern and latest.

Expressing satisfaction, he proposed giving a grand reception for workers in celebration of May Day at thewonderful hostel.

Sin Un Hyang, worker of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, says:

“Everything seems to be a dream. From the moment of entering the hostel we were too excited to feel even the passage of time. We shed tears of gratitude, thinking of the love of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who provided us with such wonderful hostel. Entering the hostel after a day’s work, we feel as if we are going into our native homes full of love of kindhearted mother. We will, in the future, produce a larger amount of cloth to repay the love and trust of Kim Jong Un who provided us with a palatial hostel.”
