Meet Choe Kyong Ho and Kim Myong Sim, the innovative power couple at the Ryongsong Bearing Factory.
Choe, the husband, operates a lathe at the equipment workshop, while his wife, Myong Sim, works as a supplier at the materials workshop.
A decade ago, Choe completed his military service and joined the factory. Since then, he has dedicated himself to mastering his machinery and honing his skills, earning a reputation as a skilled worker.
Myong Sim found herself drawn to Choe while delivering materials to his workshop.
After tying the knot, they united their efforts to elevate their technical expertise and maintain their equipment with meticulous care. Their dedication has consistently surpassed the factory’s yearly quotas outlined in the national economic plan.
Reflecting on their journey, they remark, “Innovative couples are the backbone of every workshop in our factory.” They find immense joy in their work, thanks to the factory’s provision of comprehensive living and working conditions.
